The Contemporanul , founded in 1981, is a national journal for culture, politics and science,

including reports on ongoing Romanian and international cultural, social and political events, as

well as on quality books brought out by the Contemporanul Publishing in the fields of literature,

philosophy, essay, poetry and art.
